Porto, or Oporto, International Film Festival is one of the most intriguing film festivals taking place in Europe.

Officially focusing on the fantasy and science fiction genres, Porto Film Festival provides filmmakers with a less mainstream stage, to present more controversial art, which establishes a more complex perspective of reality by using non-realistic filming techniques and plots.

In short, the festival is an artsy event dominated by plenty of fantasy. If cinema is your thing, or if you are into science fiction, you are bound to have a wonderful time.
